Street Sweep Cook-out
Date: May 22, 2004
Time: 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM
Location: 2140 Ramsgate Street
For those that volunteer at least 2 hours in the Street Sweep 2004 event, you are welcome to join Jason and Merri Beth for a Cook-out to reward your volunteer time and hard work.
FAQ’s:
- Do I need to sign up for the event?
Yes. We need to get an accurate count of who can help hand out flyers and help with the clean-up. Those who plan to volunteer at least 2 hours need to let us know if they plan to attend the cook-out so that we can have enough food. Please sign-up here.
- What do I need to bring?
Bringing yourself may be good enough, however, it may be good to bring: gloves, brooms, push brooms, dust pans, hat, reflective vest, flat shovel, wheel barrel, and/or any other tool that can assist with picking up litter. Please label your tools with your last name.
We plan to provide trash bags, recycle containers, road cones, "Don't Trash My Spot Signs," and some reflective vests. We also plan to provide water to the Street Sweep volunteers to keep us properly hydrated.
- What do I need to wear?
Please were comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes.
- Where are we meeting at 9:00 AM?
We are meeting on the corner of Sierra Drive and Lineberry Drive for a short meeting before we begin.
- Can I just come to the cook-out?
No. We are requiring that cook-out attendants volunteer at least 2 hours before they can attend the cook-out.
- Do I need to bring anything to the cook-out?
Maybe. We plan on providing all food and beverages. However, we may need additional chairs if we have a large turnout.
